When used for food, zucchini are usually picked when under 20 cm (8 in) in length, when the seeds are still soft and immature. Mature zucchini can be 1 m (40 in) long or more. These larger ones often have mature seeds and hard skins, requiring peeling and seeding. A zucchini with the flowers attached is a sign of a truly fresh and immature fruit, and it is especially sought after for its sweeter flavor.[17]


We have a long tradition of serving things like home made pizza or this year burgers to counteract the candy. My kids were always so excited little that if I did not make a favorite food they did not eat on Halloween.

Hello , I'm arab and my favorite middle eastern dish is dolma. And i've tried both armenian and turkish Dolma , even the arabs have it and must say the turkish one tastes the most different and not in a good way it's too sweet ! I hate turkish cuisine , but love armenian dolma and manti , even the turkish manti is bad .. turkish food is so greasy i dont like it at all and ive been to all the best places in istambul ughh.. sorry turkey but dont compare your bad cuisine to armenia's flawless one .


A typical Turkish homemade dinner starts with a warm soup, followed by a dish made of vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, cauliflower, green beans, potatoes, spinach to name a few), meat or legumes (beans, chickpeas, lentils) boiled in a pot and typically served with starchy foods like bread, Turkish rice pilaf, pasta or bulgur. As a refreshment, green salads or cacik is served alongside the main meal.
